It doesn’t really matter who the person is, where he/she lives or what he/she does for the living. All of us go through bad times. In fact, these days, it has become so common for someone to feel depressed over his life.
Feeling low isn’t healthy itself. But we also need to change the way we choose, to get out of it.

How do we usually get out of it?
Do you remember that time, when you got your heart-broken? Or when you failed in your exam? Or when you were worried about your startup? Or when you ruined your project? Or when you got really tired or annoyed of your daily routine so you just felt like you can’t continue?
Either; you went to your friend, or your teacher, or an entrepreneur, or your senior, or parent and then just by having a few words with them you started feeling good.
Or you just went to social media and while scrolling through the feed you found a quote by a great writer and it seemed like it was written just for you, and then you felt so motivated, so inspired and at the same time, full of life and courage!
But how can other people’s beliefs or a small piece of writing change your feelings?
I remember, one of my friends planned to learn to play a new musical instrument. He bought a guitar, brought it home, googled some guitar lessons and tried playing it for about a week. But since it was new for him, he was unable to produce a good sound; this tiny failure drained all his confidence and he started feeling like he could never play it. But then the next day, he read something like “Practice makes a man perfect”. And suddenly he was like, “Yes, that’s it! I just need to practice, and one day I’ll be able to play it so good and maybe I’ll even become a part of some band”.
Now the question is, did he really need that quote? We all know that practice and hard work leads to success, right?
This happens with most of the people out there.
We go through bad times, and then, in search for the solution, we look out for wise people, successful entrepreneurs, motivational quotes etc. And they get us out of our depression so quickly, though they only tell us what we already know.
Why does it happen?
Because..
We, are the believers.
But the problem is, we put our belief in wrong things.
We believe what we are told. We believe what we read. We believe what we hear.
We believe everything and everyone but ourselves.
We feel motivated by some quotes just because some great writers wrote them.
We don’t listen to our own heart when it yells the same thing.
We don’t trust ourselves.
We underestimate ourselves.
We are the believers; But we should start believing ourselves.
We should start believing that we don’t need motivational quotes.
We should start believing that we don’t need to depend on others.
Why can’t we believe that we can be alone and still manage to cope up through things?
After all, a time can come when you’ll fall but no one will be there to help you to get up.
You’ll have to get up yourself then.
You should be prepared for that day.
We, should be prepared for that day.
Start listening to yourself, and not what others have to say.
Because a day will come when no one will be able to help you, and who knows if you’ll be able to listen to your guts or not.
So, stay a believer.
But from now on, start believing Yourself!
By the way,
Don’t believe what I say. *Wink!*
