Recently, I’ve been made aware of problems with installing and running macOS builds of my games. This is not entirely surprising; I provide these builds as-is because I’m not a Mac developer and have a very limited ability to test these. I was able to track down what seems to be causing problems with the help of some Mac-owning friends. If you’re having problems you read through and try some of the solutions on this new page.

About This Game Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is a hybrid 'roguelike' game of space exploration and starship combat set within a peculiar, as-yet-unvisited region of the galaxy known as the Purple Void.

INTRO

My entry for the 3rd Wowie Game Jam.

The theme was: 'FAILURE IS PROGRESS'

In converted that theme in a chess like game, but with a twist. You only win if you lose all of your pieces. So you need to think how you can be attacked by your opponent to let him take your pieces instead of the other way around :-).

And it has an extra rule: You have to attack a piece if you can!

STORY

You have died and want to go to heaven, but before you can ascend to paradise you must first get rid of your earthly demons.... When you are free of your demons, only then can you truly live peacefully in the afterlife.

HOW TO PLAY

Quite simply, select your piece and move it, but do keep in mind the following rules:

Each piece can move a certain number of squares forward or sideways.
You must capture a piece if you can (mandatory).
And you cannot move through lava and water or through your own pieces.

Try to beat your own score (less turns is better) to lose all your demons!
